Seattle’s reLeaf Program is giving away:
- Free trees (up to 4 trees per household)
- Watering bags
- Training on proper planting and care
- A coupon for GroCo compost
- Ongoing care reminders and free workshops.
The program is designed to help Seattle residents plant trees around their homes and most importantly keeping Seattle Green! You must be a Seattle resident in order to apply. The trees that you receive can be planted anywhere on residential property, but they must be planted on the at the address on the application. Permits are required if you’re planting street trees. Permits are not guaranteed. Tree supply is limited and applications will be accepted on a first come first serve basis, so apply early!
